Sargheve has been creating new Products and Experiences for the European, American and Asian markets for over 11 years. He was the former Head of the Mobile Product Design in the Samsung Design Studio (South-west asia). In 2006, he Graduated as a Product Designer from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi post his under-graduation in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
The combination of Design and Engineering backgrounds, have always helped him nurture a unique creative perspective with strong analytical base. This inter disciplinary perspective inspires him to work at the confluence of Design, Technology and Business.
Prior to Samsung, he was working with Design division of Tata (HQ in India) and R&D division of Pentair Inc (HQ in US). He has worked together and led multidisciplinary teams across various domains like Mobile, Consumer Electronics, Healthcare and Packaging to deliver high impact Products and Experiences for the global market.
Working across the globe with Design Studios as well as Academies have given him great exposure to Cultural diversities and nuances of the far east to the west. Simultaneously, it has imbibed a unique passion for exploring new processes for Creativity and Innovation. He has also been actively mentoring students since 2008.
In 2015, he founded Designforlife to build an ecosystem ideal for organizations, to grow through easy and affordable access to Design, Technology and Business expertise. He is a mentor and advisory board member of a handful of start-ups and has co-founded few start-ups as well.
Lately, he has been involved in various Business Innovation projects and workshops, exploring and leveraging the possibilities of this confluence of domains. He was a mentor and facilitator for various Workshops and Hackathons - Google Launchpad Week, Wolves Summit, StartUs Materials Hack, SaaS Meetup were some of the recent engagements. He is associated with various Institutions and D-schools formulating and shaping workshops, activities and events, focused on Innovation and Design.
